Benefits of Group Exercise

A group exercise program has many benefits you might not get from working out alone. Some of the advantages of group training are a fun and social environment, a safe and effectively designed workout, a consistent exercise schedule, motivation and support from group members, and a workout that requires no prior exercise knowledge or experience.

Keeping it Fun and Interesting

The j.hart FITCamp group fitness program is open to all levels of ability. This program is designed to challenge and motivate while keeping workouts diverse and fun. We follow a basic structure that focuses on: movement preparation and warm-up, core, cardio, strength circuit, and a yoga influenced stretching cool-down. Activities and excercises vary greatly. Members of this group affectionately refer to ourselves as "The Tribe". Regardless of your passions or interest, what is most important is to keep moving, and j.hart FITCamp offers an outlet for you to do this while having fun!

My eyes are still burning from the "sweat storm" created by Jeff Hartford this afternoon! Thank you, sir! It's well worth it!

And, to those who bring their older children to FitCamp, THANK YOU! I aspire to raise my child as you have done with yours. Mary, Vicky  and now Holly - your kids are amazing and a joy to be around!

Jeff and Michelle, your two little ones ease the void when Amelia is missing. It truly IS family-like, this j.hart FitCamp thing that's going on!

As a kid, I REALLY enjoyed playing in the rain. Splashing through puddles, riding my bike...you know, all the fun stuff a kid likes to do. Especially when your parents are telling you not to get your shoes wet. We'd play with our toys...sword fights, squirt guns, etc.

Today, we did the same thing, as adults. Only, our toys were barbells, dumbbells, tires, the box, agility ladder, and core trainers. It was AWESOME! I could hear my inner mom yelling about my wets shoes, but I didn't care! I know I won't be walking very well later today, but short term discomfort = long term progress! Hats off to Jeff and all who came out to play in the rain today! You all rock!! My daughter is coming down with the "sickness", I think. She wants to come back on Sunday!
